In this month’s cellar clearing we have balanced the number of white and red wines.
As expected, the “Lillian Syrah 2008” from winemaker Maggie Harrison (former employee at the “Sine Qua None” winery) took the cake, but there were also other positive surprises. First and foremost the “Tros Blanc”, a Grenache Blanc from Alfredo Arribas Trossos from Montsant. But the other wines were also all very nice, even if the Riesling from Clemens Busch (2011) already showed clear signs of age – but it was also charming.
